Ahh, hierarchy vs relational. The question comes back to me–again. I love it, what rules it all? Reminds me of those two IBM DBMS’ I worked with for too long, IMS vs. DB2. The Knowledge-Maker or the Decision-Maker? The juxtapositionment of reason, the scientist or the politician. The duality of It all, the SMALL or the big. The yes or the no. The Off or the On, again, and again, and again… Binary thinkers we all are.
I don’t know what makes and what does not, and I don’t get Into those dialectical discourses–anymore. I stay on my side of the fence, and many times I forget what side that’s on.
I do know that Indios believe in three things for the tribal nation, one, you become IT, two, you follow IT, or three, you start your own band.
I’m into three, the beat may be off, but it’s my beat, and that’s the enigma I prefer.
